Welcome. I am Martina Samuel, a compassionate therapist dedicated to supporting individuals healing from trauma, toxic relationships, and emotional pain.

My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, combining evidence-based techniques like EMDR, inner child work, and parts work to help you process painful memories, heal deep wounds, and reconnect with your authentic self. With unconditional positive regard, I will meet you where you are, creating a supportive environment for your growth.

What you can expect from our work together:

  • Healing from Narcissistic and Toxic Relationships: I will guide you through the emotional and psychological effects of narcissistic abuse, manipulation, and gaslighting. Together, we will work to rebuild your self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries, and clarify what healthy, balanced relationships look like.
  • Addressing Attachment Trauma: If past relationships – particularly with caregivers or significant others – have left you feeling insecure, anxious, or disconnected, we will explore and heal these attachment wounds. This work will help you build more secure, nurturing relationships – with others and with yourself.
  • Reconnecting with Your Inner Child: Many of us carry the pain of unmet needs or emotional neglect from childhood. Through inner child work, we will reconnect with and nurture these younger parts of you, offering them the love, validation, and care they never received. This healing is transformative for issues like anxiety, abandonment fears, and emotional numbness.
  • Parts Work & Integration: Trauma often leaves us fragmented, with parts of ourselves – like harsh inner critics or emotional walls – that prevent us from feeling whole. I will help you identify and integrate these parts, restoring self-cohesion and a deeper sense of inner peace.
  • Building Self-Worth & Confidence: Healing from trauma is about rediscovering your inherent value and learning to trust yourself again. Together, we will challenge self-doubt, fear, and insecurity, replacing them with self-compassion, healthy beliefs, and a strong sense of self-worth.
